AlibabaR, located at the vibrant Joo Chiat intersection, is a dual-concept space operating as a coffee shop by day and a bar by night. Supply Bay supplied medium expanded metal mesh for a prominent feature wall that frames a column at the shopfront, creating a distinctive visual anchor visible from the street.

The expanded metal forms a cage-like enclosure around a pebble-filled core, combining metal and stone to achieve a raw, industrial aesthetic. This material pairing introduces texture and depth while maintaining openness and transparency, allowing the feature to feel both enclosed and connected to its surroundings.

Fabricated with consistent mesh profiles and durable finishes, the expanded metal delivers long-term performance in a high-visibility commercial setting, reinforcing the venue’s modern identity and its standout street presence.
