Corrugated Sheets
Corrugated Roofing, Cladding & Architectural Sheets in Singapore
Supply Bay supplies corrugated metal sheets in aluminium, mild steel, galvanised steel and stainless steel (SS304 / SS316) for roofing, wall cladding, fencing, ceiling panels, and architectural feature applications.
Corrugated sheets are produced by cold-rolling flat metal sheet into a repeating ridge-and-valley profile. This corrugation process significantly increases the sheet's structural rigidity and load-bearing capacity relative to its weight, making corrugated metal one of the most efficient and cost-effective cladding and roofing materials for industrial, commercial, and architectural use.
Corrugations can be applied to both solid sheets and perforated sheets. Perforated corrugated sheets combine the structural advantage of the corrugated profile with the open area properties of perforated metal, suitable for ventilated facade screens, acoustic cladding panels, and architectural applications where airflow or light filtration is required.
Supply Bay's corrugated sheets are available in standard sheet sizes (4FT x 8FT) or custom cut lengths, with optional finishing including powder coating and PVDF coating.
The Supply Bay Standard
4FT x 8FT (1.22m W x 2.44m L) standard sized sheets or 5FT X 10FT (1.53m W × 3.05m L). Custom cut lengths available to specification.

Corrugated Sheet Profiles
Supply Bay supplies corrugated sheets in two standard profiles: sinusoidal (round wave) and trapezoidal (IBR / Box Rib).
Sinusoidal (Round Wave)
A smooth, continuous S-curve wave repeating across the sheet width. No flat sections or angular transitions. Commonly specified for architectural cladding, ceiling panels, feature walls, and decorative applications where the soft, flowing profile is preferred.
Also referred to as: round wave panel, wave sheet, wavy cladding, S-wave panel.
Trapezoidal (IBR / Box Rib)
Flat-topped ribs with angular sides and flat valley sections. Provides a higher structural depth per rib, making it better suited to longer spans and heavier-duty roofing. Standard for industrial and commercial roofing in Singapore.
Also referred to as: IBR sheet, box rib panel, trapezoidal roofing sheet, inverted box rib.
What Are Corrugated Metal Sheets?
Corrugated sheets are produced by cold-rolling flat sheet metal into a repeating ridge-and-valley profile. The profile — whether a smooth round wave or an angular box rib — significantly increases the sheet's structural rigidity and load-bearing capacity relative to its weight. This makes corrugated metal one of the most efficient cladding and roofing materials for industrial, commercial, and architectural use.
They are also referred to by various names: wave panels, wavy sheets, ribbed cladding, sinusoidal panels, IBR sheets, or ridge panels. All refer to the same category of profiled sheet metal.
Corrugations can be applied to both solid and perforated base sheets. Perforated corrugated sheets combine the structural advantage of the corrugated profile with the open area properties of perforated metal — suitable for ventilated facade screens, acoustic cladding, and applications where airflow or light filtration is required.
| Finish | Suitable Materials | Use Case |
|---|---|---|
| Mill finish (plain) | Aluminium, Mild Steel, SS304/316, GI | Standard; for further fabrication or unexposed use |
| Powder coating | Aluminium, Mild Steel, GI | Exterior cladding, colour-matched panels |
| PVDF coating | Aluminium | High-performance exterior; UV and fade resistant |
| Hot-dip galvanised | Mild Steel | Industrial roofing, outdoor structures, hoarding |
| Brushed (No. 4) | SS304, SS316 | Architectural feature walls, interior cladding |
Applications
Corrugated metal sheets are used across a broad range of construction, industrial, and architectural applications in Singapore:
Roofing
Industrial factory roofs, warehouse roofing, covered linkways, canopy structures, agricultural buildings, and site offices. Corrugated profiles direct rainwater runoff efficiently.
Wall cladding and facade panels
External wall cladding for industrial and commercial buildings. Architectural corrugated cladding is increasingly used on contemporary commercial and institutional facades for its textured, industrial aesthetic.
Ceiling and soffit panels
Corrugated aluminium sheets used as decorative ceiling elements in retail, F&B, and commercial interiors, where the ribbed profile adds visual texture and depth.
Fencing and hoarding
Corrugated galvanised steel sheets for construction site hoarding, perimeter fencing, industrial boundary walls, and temporary enclosures.
Feature walls and interior design
Corrugated stainless steel and aluminium panels used as feature wall cladding in contemporary retail, hospitality, and residential interiors.
Corrugated Sheets vs Alternatives
| Product | Profile | Best For | Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Corrugated sheet (sinusoidal) | Round wave | Architectural cladding, feature walls, ceilings | - |
| Corrugated sheet (trapezoidal / IBR) | Angular box rib | Industrial roofing, long-span structures | - |
| Solid flat sheet | Flat | Fabrication, cladding where flat face is needed | - |
| Perforated corrugated sheet | Flat | Ventilated facades, acoustic screens | Reduced structural strength vs solid |
| Laser-cut panel | Flat, custom pattern | Decorative screens, feature panels | Higher cost; longer lead time |
Corrugated Metal FAQ
-
Supply Bay supplies corrugated sheets in galvanised steel (GI), aluminium, mild steel, and stainless steel (SS304 and SS316). Please note that depending on the design and complexity, some materials are more appropriate for bending than others. Our team can advise on the correct grade for your project.
-
There are two types of corrugated sheets.
Sinusoidal (round wave) profile has smooth, symmetrical ridges and valleys.
Trapezoidal or IBR (Inverted Box Rib) profiles has flat-topped angular ribs with steeper sides.
Corrugated profiles are more commonly specified for architectural and light-commercial applications; trapezoidal profiles are preferred for longer spans and heavier industrial roofing. Contact us to discuss which profile suits your application.
-
Yes. Corrugated sheets in mild steel, galvanised steel, and aluminium can be powder coated in any RAL or custom colour.
For long-life facade applications on aluminium, PVDF coating is recommended for superior UV and fade resistance.
-
Yes, when correctly specified. Galvanised steel and aluminium corrugated sheets are well-suited to Singapore's outdoor environment.
For coastal locations or highly corrosive environments, aluminium or SS316 stainless steel are the preferred specifications.
-
All Supply Bay corrugated sheets are manufactured to order based on customer specifications. A CAD drawing (DXF, DWG, or equivalent) is required to proceed with fabrication.
Standard panel size: 4ft × 8ft (1.22m × 2.44m)
Custom cut-to-size: Available on request.
Lead time: 1–2 weeks.
