Tai Keng Place is a residential project in Singapore where Supply Bay was engaged to design, fabricate, and supply a custom staircase solution that integrates perforated metal into the home’s interior architecture. Featured in SquareRooms Magazine, the staircase serves as both a functional element and a sculptural focal point within the living space.
Using precision-fabricated round and square perforated metal panels with powder-coated finishes in white and black, the staircase components were engineered for durability, safety, and visual lightness. The perforations introduce a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, enhancing spatial depth while maintaining airflow and openness within the interior.
Beyond aesthetics, the system provides reliable structural performance for everyday residential use, meeting practical requirements while elevating the overall design language of the home. Delivered installation-ready, the staircase reflects a seamless balance of craftsmanship, material innovation, and contemporary residential design.
