Changi Airport Terminal 5 is a major aviation infrastructure development by Changi Airport Group (CAG), set within the 1,080-hectare Changi East development, expected to handle around 50 million passengers annually. T5 will connect to Changi Airport's existing terminals, positioning the airport to operate as an integrated air hub, with its first phase slated to open in the mid-2030s.
As part of the project, our expanded metal walkway mesh was supplied for structural walkway and in-wall structural applications across the terminal. The continuous strand structure of expanded metal provides the rigidity required for load-bearing walkway surfaces, while maintaining permeability for in-wall installations within the building structure.
