Christ Methodist Church is a prominent landmark along East Coast Road, designed with a focus on reinterpreting traditional church architecture for contemporary worship while responding to Singapore’s tropical climate.
Supply Bay supplied aluminium expanded facade panels for the facade, contributing to both the building’s visual identity and environmental performance. The expanded metal cladding forms a distinctive architectural skin that enhances natural ventilation and allows daylight to filter through, helping to reduce heat gain while maintaining comfort within the communal spaces.
Beyond its functional benefits, the facade introduces a refined, textured appearance that complements the church’s modern design language. Fabricated with durable aluminium and consistent mesh profiles, the panels were delivered installation-ready, supporting long-term performance in an exterior tropical environment while reinforcing the building’s role as a welcoming space for congregation and community.
