At the former Central Mall site, now part of the transformative Union Square redevelopment along the Singapore River, Supply Bay supplied expanded walkway mesh for structural systems within the development. The project forms part of a large-scale mixed-use transformation integrating office, residential, retail, and public spaces, designed to enhance connectivity and revitalise the precinct.
The expanded metal walkway mesh was selected for its high strength-to-weight ratio, slip resistance, and durability, ensuring safe and reliable access across service and maintenance areas. Its open mesh structure allows for effective drainage, ventilation, and debris fall-through, making it well-suited for demanding structural applications within a dense urban development.
Delivered installation-ready, the heavy-duty expanded metals support long-term performance while integrating seamlessly into the project’s broader emphasis on functionality, connectivity, and sustainable urban design.
