Keppel South Central

Keppel South Central is a next-generation commercial development by Keppel and Obayashi Singapore, a next-generation, smart and super low energy commercial tower. The building is a showcase of Keppel’s expertise in driving Sustainable Urban Renewal, featuring advanced green solutions and technologies.

As part of the project, our expanded metal walkway mesh was adapted for structural in-wall applications, providing both strength and permeability within the building envelope. The continuous strand structure of expanded metal allows for high rigidity while maintaining airflow, supporting passive ventilation strategies and reducing overall material usage. The use of our expanded mesh aligns with the project’s ESG objectives, combining structural efficiency with long-term durability in Singapore’s tropical climate. The use of expanded metal also contributes to a clean, modern facade while supporting energy-efficient design through reduced heat build-up and improved air circulation.
